• CD-ROMs (MP3, JPEG, etc.)
• DVDs
• DTS-CDs
• Quicker track access performance enabled by
an advanced servo mechanism.

Music discs encoded with copyright
protection technologies
This product is designed to playback discs that
conform to the Compact Disc (CD) standard.
Recently, various music discs encoded with copyright
protection technologies are marketed by some record
companies. Please be aware that among those discs,
there are some that do not conform to the CD standard
and may not be playable by this product.
• With a Super Audio CD you can mark up to
255 track numbers. This player is compatible
with the format of the Super Audio CD.
Notes on CD-R/CD-RW playback
Discs recorded on CD-R/CD-RW drives may not be
played back because of scratches, dirt, recording
condition, or the drive’s characteristics. Besides, the
discs, which are not yet finalized at the end of
recording, cannot be played back. In these cases,
“READING” will remain or “TOC ERROR” will
appear on the display.
Note on DTS-CDs
Do not play a DTS-CD on this player. If you do, severe
noise will be generated. If you do, severe noise may be
output at full blast. This may cause malfunction of the
player.
Note on DualDiscs
A DualDisc is a two sided disc product which mates
DVD recorded material on one side with digital audio
material on the other side. However, since the audio
material side does not conform to the Compact Disc
(CD) standard, playback on this product is not
guaranteed.
