The AC-V16/V17 AC power
adaptor can be used as follows:
•to charge a Sony Nickel Cadmium
(Ni-Cd) type battery pack except
NP-22H
•to supply power to an 8 mm video
equipment*

while pressing the battery pack,
slide it in the direction of the
arrow.

only at the qualified service shop.

One blade of the plug is wider than
the other for the purpose of safety
and will fit into the power outlet
only one way. If you are unable to
insert the plug fully into the outlet,
contact your dealer.
If the plug supplied with this
equipment has a detachable fuse
cover, be sure to attach the fuse
cover after you change the fuse.
Never use the plug without the fuse
cover. If you should lose the fuse
cover, please contact your nearest
Sony service station.

while charging the battery pack.
• The POWER lamp will remain lit for
a while even if the battery pack is
removed and the power cord is
unplugged after charging the battery
pack. This is normal.
• If the POWER lamp does not light,
set the selector to VTR and
disconnect the power cord. After
about one minute, reconnect the
power cord and set the selector to
CHARGE again.
